AspenRidge Recovery Offering Hardship Scholarships, Free Mental Health Resources to Community During COVID-19 Crisis

Mental health will continue to be a concern for all of us as we deal with daily anxiety and adapt to social distancing amidst the COVID-19 global health crisis. AspenRidge Recovery, a Colorado-based rehab and treatment center specializing in mental health, complex trauma, and substance addiction, is keeping the recovery community connected and offering free resources to clients and the community as we move forward through this pandemic, including:

• AspenRidge Recovery has moved all in-person Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Outpatient Programs (OP) online as a precautionary measure for clients, staff and the community. We do not have any confirmed cases of COVID-19, but want to comply with the CDC and Governor Polis’ recommendation to utilize telehealth to limit contact and proactively prevent the spread of viral illness. We have been successfully running online IOP groups since early February and will continue to do so after the spread COVID-19 has been contained. • AspenRidge Recovery will host online recovery support meetings open to the public every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8PM.

• AspenRidge Recovery hosts a free monthly webinar to support friends and family members of those struggling with addiction. Marty Rein, AspenRidge’s Clinical Director, will lead a session on codependency with Q&A on Thursday, March 26th at 6PM.

• AspenRidge will host a free community meditation on Friday, March 27th at 9AM in collaboration with Harmony Foundation. The meditation will be 15-20 minutes followed by Q&A.

• AspenRidge Recovery is offering a scholarship for its AspenRidge REACH Online IOP Program to someone experiencing hardship in this time. We realize the economic impact that social distancing may have.
