The Bridal Collection Presents Dogs & Dresses Adoption Event Saturday Featuring the Wedding of Pugs Phoebe and Chuy

Tomorrow, Sept. 15th, Denver bridal shop The Bridal Collection and its partner Brighter Days Dog Rescue (BDDR) request the honour of your presence at its second annual Dogs & Dresses dog adoption event. Dogs & Dresses aims to find foster and forever homes for dozens of dogs who have come to BDDR from urgent situations, and there will be nearly two dozen dogs on site available for adoption. This year, Dogs & Dresses will also feature the wedding of pugs Phoebe (official name Phoebe Consuela Banana Hammock) and Chuy (official name Jesus Rodriguez) at 11:30 a.m., gourmet dog treats, photo opportunities, giveaways, and fun activities for all throughout the day.

Those who adopt from Brighter Days Dog Rescue are truly saving a dog’s life. BDDR is notified about dogs all over the United States in urgent situations, some of whom are only hours away from being euthanized. At BDDR, they work to find the perfect match for a dog and its forever home. In addition to doing adoptions, BDDR also accepting monetary donations and donations of dog toys, food, blankets, and towels.

WHEN:  Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; The marriage of Phoebe and Chuy will take place at 11:30 a.m.

About The Bridal Collection:

The Bridal Collection owner, Lynn Crandall, set out to create a shop with a warm environment and well-made dresses where women could come to celebrate life’s biggest events with those who mean the most to them. Lynn’s mom, Gaylynn, was her biggest supporter, and together, they learned everything they could about the bridal industry. They also decided that they would use their business to help women locally and globally through volunteerism and charitable giving. The Bridal Collection opened for business in November of 2000 in the Denver Tech Center. Now, two moves and many years later, The Bridal Collection is a Colorado bridal tradition and has expanded to include accessories, moms dresses, pageant gowns and prom dresses. More information at
