Parker Chamber Picture Show Says Goodbye to Summer with Final Two Events in August
The Parker Chamber of Commerce is marking the last days of summer with its final two outdoor movie events on Saturday, Aug. 8 and Aug. 22. The Parker Chamber Picture Show series, a signature event of the Parker Chamber, features free outdoor movies throughout the summer at O’Brien Park in downtown Parker. The series began in late June and has attracted nearly 500 people to downtown Parker for each showing. All movies are family-friendly and start shortly after dusk at 8:30 p.m. Movie-goers can arrive early to relax with friends and family, grab a seat on the lawn, and enjoy pre-show entertainment starting at 7:15 p.m. For more information and a complete movie lineup, visit www.ParkerChamber.com.

WHO: Hundreds of people from the Parker area will come together at O’Brien Park to enjoy free movies under the stars. This year’s event features only G- and PG-rated movies, providing budget-friendly entertainment for families, even those with young children.

TICKETS: Entry to the Parker Chamber Picture Show is FREE and open to the public.
DETAILS: The Parker Chamber of Commerce will broadcast family-friendly movies from a giant, 26-foot inflatable screen. There will be pre-show games and entertainment, including movie trivia contests and magic shows. The Chamber will offer affordable movie popcorn, candy and soda for purchase at its concession stands, but guests are also encouraged to bring their own picnics as well as family pets on a leash.
