November Is First-Ever Mile High United Way Month

~Month-long celebration designed to energize the community and build a better future

This November, Mile High United Way will lead the state of Colorado in celebration of the first-ever Mile High United Way Month, aiming to energize the community to take an active role in creating a better future for metro Denver through its School Readiness, Youth Success and Adult Self Sufficiency initiatives.

Mile High United Way Month offers numerous opportunities for metro Denver residents to invest in lasting solutions to the community’s most complex problems. Throughout November, Mile High United Way encourages metro Denver residents to: 1) make an online donation, 2) participate in the Mile High United Way Turkey Trot, 3) support a youth, and 4) join us at our numerous community events.

WHO: Mile High United Way combines the collective strength of nonprofit agencies, school districts, local and state government, foundations, businesses and individuals to creating lasting solutions for our community’s most complex problems.

2. Participate/volunteer in the annual Turkey Trot run/walk by joining 10,000 of your neighbors in Washington Park on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27.
