Community and Giving Back
We strongly believe in supporting our community and giving back. Community service has always been a cornerstone of our business plan, and we support the community in a variety of ways every year.
Since 2004, Xstatic has provided pro-bono public relations services, volunteer work, and financial support to nonprofit organizations, including: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado, Children’s Hospital Colorado, Colorado Public Radio, Colorado Trout Unlimited, Colorado Vizsla Rescue, Habitat for Humanity, the International Rescue Committee, Jewish Family Service of Colorado, Junior Achievement, the HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation and Mile High United Way, among others.
Leadership
Stacey Sepp co-founded Xstatic Public Relations in 2004 and has managed its clients and award-winning PR campaigns ever since. Stacey has over 25 years of experience in both agency and corporate PR, and throughout her career, has worked with a diverse group of organizations in industries including: nonprofit, healthcare, education, fitness and wellness, consumer products, lifestyle, financial services, real estate, academia, and many others.
Stacey is committed to creating true partnerships with clients and becoming more than just PR counsel, but a trusted and strategic part of your team. She puts relationships at the core of the business, and leads Xstatic with a real passion for exceptional quality and results.
Throughout her career, Stacey’s work has earned more than 55 awards from industry organizations including the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and National Federation of Press Women. In 2008 and again in 2017, she was honored with PRSA Colorado’s Small Practice Award, recognizing the solo/small practitioner earning the highest overall score for a campaign at its annual Gold Pick Awards. And, in 2018, Stacey was part of the team honored with PRSA Colorado’s PR Team of the Year award for their work for March on Colorado’s 2018 Women’s March.
As a media relations expert, Stacey has placed stories in outlets ranging from The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal to HGTV. Stacey graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in technical communication and journalism. She is accredited in public relations, earning the prestigious APR designation from PRSA, and served on the board for PRSA Colorado for seven years.
Stacey is a stage 4 melanoma survivor and an advocate and volunteer for the Melanoma Research Foundation (MRF). She has served as a consumer reviewer for the U.S. Department of Defense Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs – Melanoma Research, and met with members of Congress to advocate for increased research funding, access to effective treatments, and other top priorities for the melanoma community. In 2023, the MRF honored Stacey with its inaugural Advocate Award in recognition of her advocacy work for the melanoma community at the local, state, and national levels of government.
