One of the best ways to gain credibility with the media is by going the extra mile. If a reporter expresses interest in a story, be quick to set up interviews, provide compelling quotes and even locate additional sources outside of your organization. If the story is visual in nature, provide pictures and graphics. The easier it is for reporters to cover a story, the more likely you’ll get the coverage you want.
