~Annual Parade to Wind Through Downtown Parker on June 10
PARKER, Colo. — April 18, 2006 — Planning is in full swing for the 29th annual Parker Country Festival, taking place June 9-11 in the heart of downtown Parker. The summer celebration, hosted annually by the Parker Chamber of Commerce, features plenty of festivities for the entire family, but nothing captures the spirit of Parker quite like the Parker Country Festival Parade. The parade will make its way through downtown Parker on Saturday, June 10, starting at 10:30 a.m. The Chamber is encouraging local businesses, schools, churches, community organizations and others to submit entries for the 2006 Parade by Friday, May 5.
