Chamber and Parker Police Department Team Up to Prevent Workplace Crime

~The Parker Chamber of Commerce and the Parker Police Department have teamed up

PARKER, Colo. — Oct. 31, 2005 — The Parker Chamber of Commerce and the Parker Police Department have teamed up to educate the local business community about crime awareness and prevention practices. In the coming weeks, officers from the Parker Police Department will conduct seminars for local businesses and their employees on common workplace crimes and proactive ways to prevent them.

Parker Chamber of Commerce Seeks New Executive Director

~Chamber Plans to Fill Position by End of November

PARKER, Colo. — Oct. 4, 2005 — Dawna Callahan, executive director of the Parker Chamber of Commerce, submitted her resignation to the board of directors on Friday, Sept. 30. The resignation is effective immediately. Callahan and the board of directors noted steady Chamber growth and noteworthy accomplishments throughout her tenure as executive director, but agreed that the Chamber will benefit from new leadership. Callahan was named executive director for the Chamber in 2001.
