JAMILE MCGEE:
Jamile McGee started dancing at the age of 4. At age 9, Jamile was diagnosed with systemic juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and was told he would be unable to walk and in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. He was miraculously healed and able to not only walk, but make his home on the stage, where his first professional performance came at the age of 14. Jamile was a dance major at Wright State University where he excelled in ballet, modern, lyrical and jazz. He has performed at colleges, universities, concerts and special events throughout the country, and taught hip hop dance to all ages. Since his debut on the FOX hit show “So You Think You Can Dance,” Jamile has performed and taught dance internationally.
